Thought we were magnificent to a man. I know it was only Palace & they're in turmoil but we never looked in trouble of not losing 3 points
All the new signings looked very good buys for a change - that's the difference from previous seasons
Kouyate's powerful presence bonds well with Nobles energy & effort allowing him to get forward more
Zarate anywhere in midfield is capable of turning defence into attack with his clever skillful movement & passing
Cresswell looks fairly solid
I'm starting to get excited about this season now
MOM Noble

I think it was Collins for getting sent off last week followed by Nolan for damaging his shoulder.................

Re: Your MOTM today?
Zarate.

The team played well as a whole but I can't remember the last time I saw someone find so much space in the middle of the park.

Zarate has the technique to control and turn upfield and generally link the play from Noble (who is often as deep as the central defenders he is taking the ball off of) and our attacking widemen and central striker.

He even dropped back to the half way line to get the ball and was always making himself available. Not a perfect display by any means but a complete breathe of fresh air.

I am so glad Zarate has made it as difficult as he can for the OAF to drop him for Nolan. Let's hope it continues.

Noble without a doubt. Proved how good a player he really is.

I'm going to plump for JOB. Just to counter-balance some of the mongs who think he has no place at the club.

Kouyate and Zarate made the greatest difference for me - both were standout. It allowed Noble to be more effective although his corner kicks are still poor.

Re: Your MOTM today?
The whole team for me. That was the team I'd like to see, with Sakho starting over LOLton and Valencia for Vaz Te to finish it off.

Even with that fat cunt of a manager I reckon that side will do damage this season.

Dunno if it was the lack of Nolan but we looked good today, apart from their goal.

You've got Noble confused with Kouyate.

Noble for me. Under the spectacular radar but dominated midfield, tidied up and moved us forward.

Re: Your MOTM today?
Reports say Delaney (under a challenge from Vaz Te) made a bad clearance that went to Cole 10 yards out.

I didn't see all the game, so I can't say how well Vaz Te played, but when he does play, we seem to have a canny knack of playing well and winning. I do like him, he seems to try his best and is always up for it, things seem to happen in a positive way for us when he gets involved.

Re: Your MOTM today?
I'm going for Zarate.

Thought he was a constant threat in that first half and looked great with the ball at his feet.

I suppose Kouyate probably did more over the 90 mins but for the first time in ages we had a forward that looked to take people
on and make something happen, was an absolute joy to watch.
